Men's hockey: Ukraine edges France

      WEST VALLEY CITY, UTAH (AP) — Dmitri Khristych, who plays for the NHL's Washington Capitals, and Igor Chybirev scored power plays goals in the first Wednesday night to start the Ukraine rolling to a 4-2 Olympic hockey victory over France.
      Both teams already had been eliminated from the Olympics' final round.
      Vadym Shakraychuk and Oleksiy Ponikarovsky scored in the second period to give Ukraine (2-1) a three-goal pad in the second period.
      Roman Salnikov assisted of three on the goals.
      Four-time Olympian Phillipe Bozon, a former NHL player, scored both goals for France (0-2-1).
