Winterfest runs through Feb. 23
Pioneer Winterfest runs from noon-5 p.m., Monday-Saturday, through Feb. 23 at This Is The Place Heritage Park, 2601 E. Sunnyside Ave. (800 South). The park, at the entrance of Emigration Canyon, where Mormon pioneers first entered the Salt Lake Valley, is also home to This Is The Place Monument and other Western monuments, in addition to Old Deseret Village. Admission is free to the monument and visitors center. Admission to the village is $10 for adults, $8 for children 3-11 and for seniors.
