Singing for the Gold

NBC has kept you apprised of all the sporting events since the 2002 Winter Games began, but Salt Lake City has also hosted a bevy of high-profile musical events — primarily at the Medals Plaza — as part of the cultural side of the Olympics. With the Grammy Awards approaching, it seems fitting to display some of the singers and bands that helped make Salt Lake City the music center of the world for 17 days.
