SLOC volunteers plan to party tonight at plaza
They've worked hard while everybody else partied and now it's their turn to celebrate.
Salt Lake Organizing Committee volunteers will celebrate the close of the Games at the Olympic Medals Plaza tonight. Gates open at 5 p.m. for fun and games, entertainment by KC and the Sunshine Band and a fireworks finale at 9 p.m.
SLOC President Mitt Romney and SLOC volunteer chairman Steve Young will be on hand, as will International Olympic Committee member Jim Easton.
