Event schedule

  • Saturday, March 16
          9:30 a.m. Men's (B1-B3) and women's slalom first run, Snowbasin Ski Area
          1 p.m. Men's (B1-B3) and women's slalom second run, Snowbasin Ski Area
          9 a.m. Men's and women's cross country long distance (standing and visually impaired), Soldier Hollow
          7:30 p.m. Closing ceremonies, Olympic Medals Plaza

    Getting there

    • Carpool whenever possible.

    • Snowbasin Ski Area: Drive to the Mountain Green park-and-ride lot off of I-84 (exits 92 or 96) east of US-89. Ride the free shuttle to the venue.

    • Soldier Hollow: Take I-80 to Silver Creek Junction (exit 148), go south on US-40 and turn right (west) on US-189, follow signs to the park-and-ride lot. Ride the free shuttle to the venue.

    • Medals Plaza: There is no shuttle bus service for closing ceremonies. Spectators should carpool or ride TRAX. Gates open at 5:30 p.m.

    • Salt Lake City: Saturday, a 60 percent probability of snow, 1-2 inches. Possible highs 35-40. Saturday night, partly cloudy with a 50 percent chance of snow, lows in the 20s.

    • Snowbasin: Saturday, a 70 percent probability of snow, 3-6 inches. Highs in the lower and mid 20s.

    • Soldier Hollow: Saturday, a 60 percent probability of snow, 2-4 inches. Highs 25-35.
