My nephew and my sister, his mother, are both taking ssri type drugs. I was interested to see the comment about alcahol being associated with these drugs. My sister's drinking got out of hand after she started on prozac. Once I became aware of the violence associated with these drugs I have been captivated by the issue. Just recently, in Massachusetts a woman who I believe was on, or withdrawing from,an ssri type drug picked up her neice and nephew from her sister's house and while driving home she pulled off the road, stripped herself and the two children naked and walked into traffic with them, killing all three. She had apparantly recently been treated by a psychiatrist. There are way too many incidents of this sort going on. Ann tracy's work is very important.

re: "how do I get a copy of ann's tapes or cd's".

Be careful. I paid for a set of tapes a year and a half ago and I never received a single one. After six months, Ann advised me she would refund my money. I never got a single cent back.

While Ann has spent a lot of time reading and talking to people about the subject, her academic background is dubious. While she always refers to herself as "Dr.", and claims a PHd in "health sciences", a look at her graduate degree college web site (George Wythe College) shows that this college has no such degree program; in fact, they have no science degree programs whatsoever.
