I am horrified by the sentences some of these people received! A suspended sentence on a murder charge? Even the 1 to 15 is hard to swallow. These killers deserve more time locked up and getting treatment for their anger management and patience problems! These were children, if they didn't want them, why did they have them?

These stories are sad, and by reading each case I am sure most people feel these parents and care takers deserve life in prison if not the death penalty. But there is always another side to the story. These are men and women just like you and I, some lost their temper momentarily, some were high and didn't know what they were doing, and yes, some are just people who didn't know how to be parents. But I have met a number of the women listed here, and heard their story. There is so much more to each cvase than what you have read here. I am not excusing what they did, childrens lives have been lost. But once in a while, we need to think about what may have driven someone to do what they did... or was it accidental.
