This is the most ridiculous article I have ever read. So many people are judgmental of Hefner and the girls, assuming that they are "dumb blonds" having sex with an old man. If you were to actually watch the girls next door seasons one, two, and three they completely trash that stereotype. For example on Holly's five year anniversary with Hef she gave him a really sweet card. Holly never loses control of her emotions on the show but she started to cry when her boyfriend read the nice card out loud. It was very touching and completely sincere. So I suggest refraining from judging people so quickly, watch the seasons and then see if you still have the same opinion.

maybe if you'd watched more than 2 early episodes you would have picked up on the fact that the girls do not "walk around in skimpy bikinis" all the time and are infact for the most part FULLY CLOTHED and that whatever their "allowance" or "pay" may be that the girls have actually used this show and their position as playboy bunnies to further themselves in "real" careers like hollys editing and bridgets presenting. Lastly i would say that Holly and Bridget especially really seem to love hef. If this is fake then whos loosing? an old man who wants some company in his old age, and some girls who get a nice lifestyle for being that company! seems like a sweet deal from all sides to me.

I would think that Bridget's age alone would dispel the young blonde bimbo stereotype, not to mention the fact that she has an advanced college degree. Not one of these girls is a bimbo, so maybe they say some not so bright things, mainly Kendra, but who doesn't? And you have to remember that the show takes hundreds of hours of footage and edits it into 30 minutes, they take the funniest and most outrageous stuff they can get. And yeah, they live an alternative lifestyle, but if that is what makes them happy, who are we to judge?
