This was a very awesome story. I am devastaed for this family and all they've been through, but so happy that they are strong enough to really see the smaller blessings in life. God Bless.

I read your story and I am amazed by your courage and strength, I will remember your story the days I feel down and depressed. I am an above the knee amputee due to having a total knee replacement while being treated for strep throat, i had Strep A and chronic Osteomyletis that i fought for almost a year before losing my leg. I know God is with you and your family and your story has given me amazing strength and taught me to be thankful for each precious day and for my family, my thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family, keep fighting the good fight.

I went to Hight School with Lisa, we were friends. It does not suprise me how strong her will is!! She was like that in High School. She still has that wonderful spirit!
