Kim, Thank you for your leadership and direction in the voucher fight. Your commitment to public education for all children is appreciated. I hope our next chairman will have the same direction.

I am leery of two of your school board members who were pushing vouchers during the campaign. I certainly hope they will not be the Chairman! I'm sure the legislature leaders will push for one of them to be the chair. Avoid their appointment!

I also hope the school board remains non-partisan. Too much concentrated power within the legislature and their heavy hand on the school board makes me leery of who may become the chairman.

Actually, there were at least 3 state school board members pushing vouchers.
