So, we have documented proof from the prime minister of Iraq that not only is our cause in Iraq working but that we are both wanted and needed. I am more than confident that many years from now people will realize the good that Bush did.

Violence has dropped to the 2005 levels. The question is whether Iraq can have peace without a functional government? Like we say out Wast: "it's always calm before the next storm. Our military experts tell us we can't maintain current troop levels. Will a destabilized Pakistan influence peace in Iraq? What about the rise of the Taliban? Osama is still alive a doing videos. Like my old Mormon Grandmother would say: Don't be counting your chicken, just yet!"

I would feel more like Extremely if I didn't know that the Iraqi government was a Shiite dominated group, who naturally want us to stay and hold off the Sunni insurgents. A general Iraqi poll would no doubt still want us to leave. I can't get my hands around the idea of Bush as "ahead-of-the-curve genius."
