I met Mr. Jimenez a few times in business seminars and I was very impressed with him. He is such a polite, gentleman, businesslike, and very charming. He changed my opinion about how I perceived Mexican politicians and diplomats.

I was able to open two facilities in Mexico due to his help with the Mexican government. I sure owe some gratitude to him for his leadership.

I hope they send us another consul that knows how to increase trade and commerce, and not just a politician.

I want to thank Mr. Salvador Jimenez Munoz for the great service he has has provided to all of the people of Utah. Salvador is a good personal friend and a friend to all of the people of Utah. His strong personal leadership and humble style has been a very effective combination. I have seen him build bridges to many communities and cultures in Utah while being a strong advocate and servant of the Mexican people. His retirement is a great loss for Utah. He leaves behind very large shoes to fill.

I wish him the best in whatever the future holds.

Warmest Wishes,

Paul Ahlstrom
