You labeled the film "Captain Abu Raed" as a "mistaken identity comedy," which is incorrect. I hope you have a chance to see the film and follow up with a more accurate description. I was there at the invitation of writer and director Amin Matalqa, who is interested in the idea of a curriculum product to accompany the film. The Utah school kids and teachers who saw the film at special screenings loved it. We have much to learn about Arabs and the Middle East, which is why Amin created a story exposing us to people with warm hearts in a beautiful place and culture. Congrats to him and all associated with the production of the Audience Award winner in World Cinema at the Sundance Film Festival.
