Why don't they smell the roses and ban all gifts. If it looks like a pig and smalls like a pig it's probably a pig. These bozos need to listen to their constituents. I don't care what they say, taking a gift creates some kind of "special relationship".

To tackle campaign-funds expenditures problems and all the gifts and perks, this has to be extended to all aspects of the problem causers, corporations (private, public and religious ones), as well as special interests groups, like the School Voucher lot, etc., etc., etc., etc., etc., etc...
The State of Utah needs to be the bel-weather state that puts in place the most restrictive and tight campaign/electoral laws in the nation. It may be the only way that Utah can shake its Church/State in political partnership reputation it has so deservedly carried even to the present.
