This has to be the the most banal article Benson has written. Why not actually provide some insightful analysis instead of stating the obvious? I am one reader that would appreciate you using your mind to actually write.

To vote for a man because of his religion is as bad as not voting for a man because of his religion. I know Mitt would have won the state on the basis of his politics alone, but not 90% of the vote.

The Mormon's closed ranks and voted for one of their own and I'm ashamed to be a Utahn.

Duh! Mormons like Mormons. What's new?

Yes, but.. Utah is not 90% Mormon. A lot of the 'gentile' vote must have gone for Mitt, too.
The LDS don't have a monoply on selecting a good candidate.

I am curious who is minding the state of Utah while Governor Huntsman is crisscrossing the country in support of Senator McCain. He is clearly not representing Utahns, who voted overwhelmingly against McCain on February 5th. Is Governor Huntsman seeking a cabinet position or possibly even a vice-presidency? Considering the unlikelihood of McCain beating the Democrats, perhaps Governor Huntsman should hang on to his day job.

"Romney Red?" Is that what the new wine (whine) is that Romney is promoting? Did he not think there might be some competition? Maybe he's just too used to getting everything his way. What a whiner!

1700 Pennsylvania Avenue sounds about right. Since that's the intersection of Pennsylvania Ave and 17th St NW that would be a great place for a traffic cop. Didn't Mitt have experience as a traffic cop during the Olympics? I think he may be well qualified for the position and the address.
