Mepolizumbab has worked wonderfully for my daughter these past two years of treatment and has enabled her to avoid high dose steroid treatment. We hope this drug is approved by the FDA as soon as possible. Bless the researchers who are studying this treatment for this rare disease.

All I can say is OUCH!!!
I took some of the tainted L-Tryptophan while I was living in California back in the late 1980's!
I didn't keep the bottle, and didn't know anything about anybody else having troubles until I came down with EOSINOPHYLIC FASCIITIS towards the late 90's.
I think the "germ" laid dormat until then.
It was a living HELL for several more years.
I was told to take 80 mg. of Prednisone a day.!!!
I felt like I was dying, so I begged to have it reduced down some. They reduced it to 60mg. a day, I took it for several months, then Methotrexate, then weaned off of that.
Bad bad stuff. "Skin thinning"???!!
Went out to the gravel driveway (oil change my car in agony), and laying down on my side...BLEEDING!
I fell down the cellar stairs because my limbs had tightened up so much I couldn't bend my ankles or wrists.
That's right, it was and has been a challenge to say the least.
"Lost years of my life" :-) and all that.
Any donations can be made ! :-)
Hope you don't have pain.
Have a good one.
