We're being sold short, as only 'nearly' conditioned into believing we gotta have it all to be happy.

Many people are not enjoying this 'happiness'. We need government to force us to be 'happy'.

The government knows what to do with our tax dollars.
More wars to support.
That way our "security" from all of this should make EVERYONE happy!

I'm not at all sure why this thought keeps popping up, but I am reminded of when George W. Bush, in a speech to his fellow richie-rich friends, joked about his group being amongst the "haves and have-mores."
Though I find this repugnant, it appears that there are some people in America who would prefer to relate to that group rather than a welfare mom who depends on social programs for her existence.
But then all of a sudden - BAD ECONOMIC TIMES!
