This book sounds kinda cool. I don't know, though, recently I've been losing my faith in the Newberry winners. I mean "Criss-Cross"? "The Higher Power of Lucky"? "Kira-Kira"? Those books were awful.

I saw this book at an audition for the Utah Renaissance Festival and Fantasy Faire. As someone who loves that time period, I will definitely be getting this book to read to my children!
