A NO-BRAINER | 6:48 a.m. March 25, 2008
"A no-brainer" in Utah.....Sly and witty, very witty!
Oh Please | 9:07 a.m. March 25, 2008
As an independent, I think I'll wander over to the sheep pen where the Republicans get together tonight, that is, if they let me in. They close everything else -- their primary, their legislative meetings, and their minds. Do you think I have a chance, or do I need to bring my membership card and decoder ring?
Or you could enjoy life | 9:40 a.m. March 25, 2008
The streets may be less-crowded this evening with those who want to run your life, so the majority of Utahns who aren't registered Rethuglicans or Democons may have a lower chance of getting the cops called on them by their nosy neighbors if they venture out to dinner and a movie.

Let's see if two-party pattycake in 2008 does anything different than it did in 2006, 2004, 2002 ....

Perhaps instead of dinner, "or you could just enjoy life" will stay home and watch American Idol on TV. That way he can sit on the couch with a Diet Coke and vote for David Archuletta by telephone at 9:00. For the rest of us, we'll be meeting with neighbors and trying to make change. Will it happen tonight? Maybe not, but at least I'll have done more than just enjoy life...

No you just need to bring you mind. Oops that might be too much to ask.

The apathy being posted as comment here is what will ultimately kill our freedom. Unless people are willing to fight for freedom, it will be taken away.

To Oh Please,
What are you independent of, a brain? Drinking your own bath water will do that.

Are you bringing "you" mind? If you do, bring your dictionary. And maybe a few commas.

Sounds like there may be chips, drinks and the big game on at the "Party" tonight.

I plan to go, we need some accountablity on our legislators, hope there are some good replacments running!

Are your comments based on facts or just your prejudices and rumors you've heard?

You say the Republicans won't let you into their Caucus... If you bothered to go to the URL in the article instead of pre-judging them based on the rhetoric you've been fed in your sheep-pen, you would know the Republican bylaws for their Caucus meetings are:

Each individual caucus shall be open to the public. Each participant shall be:
1. A Utah citizen who resides in the precinct and
2. 18 by that years general election.

That's all.

Talking about Closed Minds. If you did some research before displaying your lack of knowledge it would help.

While I'm on the point of unsubstantiated rumors... Can you site an example of when Republicans had a "Closed Legislative Meeting"? Just curious.

Since you're so "Independent" you may also want to wander by the Democrat's pen. I'm sure they want your input. Maybe they will elevate you to being one of their "SUPER DELEGATES" so you have a real vote in their system. Then you can have a superman-cape to go with your decoder ring.
