Oh that's just great. But does it somehow make the church true? I thought Catholics, Lutherans, Presbyterians, etc., do the same thing.

Snickerdoodle: This is not what makes the church true. I think it's great when anyone puts forth their time and effort to help those in need.

Give me a break Snickerdoodle, if you don't like Mormon news, don't go into the site that states it is Mormon news. Speaking of news, on the local news here the only person I saw interviewed on the news who was a volunteer was a young man in a yellow shirt, his name was Elder Whitehead, they didn't say that he was an LDS missionary. Thank heavens for all churches who serve and help, is that not following the example of the Savior, and is the teaching of service not a truth? So I would say that all those who serve are representing truth. Snickerdoodle, I would suggest you not venture into the LDS stories, then you won't have to feel frustration, cause this is a story that was under LDS Newsline, which linked to the lds.org church site with the full story. Everyone has agency, your agency Snick is to not read these stories, then you can be a happy person.

Anyone who don't like this site go ells were, but the chouse is yours to decide.
All Churches has the basic truths the problem is that no one except us will except more of the lords words and works when that our reviled our uncovered, like the dead sea scrolls.
So complain all you wont it wont do any good.

To SFC RET DENNIS,
Yes, all religions have truth.
But the practical "truths" we get from the Mormon leaders doesn't appear to be any different than what we get from other religious leaders.
Maybe with one exception: other religious leaders seem to be more timely. Mormon leaders take way too long to speak out on issues.
Take racism, for example. Othe religious leaders were fighting racism for more than 20 years before Mormon leaders finally got the message and decided to remove the racist ban on their priesthood.
Yes, Mormons do some good in the world, such as helping with flooding. But they also needlessly stir up religious bigotry and argument. And Utah and other Western states are still suffering from the polygamy introduced by Mormons!

Mormons stir up bigotry? Are you serious?
Western states suffering from something abolished over 100 years ago? Please.
Who's stirring up bigotry?
