Truly one of the great, underrated actors. Very much a gentleman. A sensible man who found an interesting way to make a living. Until it no longer interested him. When you watched him, you knew he was thinking about what he was doing and saying. Not just tossing off lines. Thank heaven he is immortal.

One of the great actors of our time. He was understated, and a natural. He never made a movie in which he didn't shine. I'm sad to see the great talents pass on, we may have to wait a while to see his like again.
