This is standard procedure for the Clintons. Did you really think that would change? Both of them are a couple of the biggest liars in US political history.

That she was on camera when she walked of the plane into flack of peoples not bullets. She is after all the partner to Bill

Most troubling about this whole matter is her apology. She didn't say she was wrong, or that she lied and was sorry, or that she exaggerated. Instead, she said: "I made a mistake". Clearly, it was not merely a mistake.

What's interesting is that after years of "vast right-wing conspiracies" attacking the Clintons, now it's the Democratic Party itself that's in full on attack mode against them. All of the charges leveled at Hillary by Obama supporters are basically identical to the evil Republican attacks of the 90s.

Looks like the vast right wing conspiracy was right.

Mike. If your last statement is true, why did you vote for Bush.

It's interesting to see how much of non-story this has been in the media. Can you imagine what the outcry would be if a Rep. made the same "mistake" There would be protests and cries for impeachment and congressional investigations. Nothing doing with the Clinton machine- its disgusting.

You forget that Willard Mitt Romney had numerous 'exaggerations' as well.

While you people are worrying about Clinton's lapses, people are dying in the collapsing health care system. Of the three candidates she is the most likely to fix it. Where are your priorities?
John | 9:57 a.m. March 27, 2008
Uhhh, folks, it was the MSM that pulled out the videos and put them on the air. These are the people who historically have protected the Clintons, and turned the attacks back at the 'vast right wing conspiracy' and yet here they are, giving fodder to those who stand against one of the biggest liars to ever walk the earth.

The last, best hope she has, is to get the super delegates to vote for her. If that happens, she will bet the nomination, but the democratic party will be finished. If she doesn't get the nomination, the Clintons will be finished.

A win - win scenario, no matter how you view it!

"It all depends on what the definition of "bullet" is.."
lost in DC | 10:22 a.m. March 27, 2008
You act surprised that Hillary told an untruth. I think the surprise is that the media is covering it. I guess since Obama is their new darling, Hillary is now fair game.

As far as Hillary fixing health care, that won't happen. She is too beholding to trial lawyers to take the first step necessary in fixing health care, and that's reigning in ambulance chasing attorneys with meaningful tort reform.

Dear John,

I still wonder why most of you guys won't sign your names to your opinions. Could it be you're unsure of them?
Amen! | 10:48 a.m. March 27, 2008
Lost in DC hit it right on the head! When the 1- 800- lawyers have caps on malpractice suits, we'll see the medical ship right itself.

Doctors cant afford to practice without passing the lawsuit expenses on to the patient.

Hillary will never go against her liberal law friends. All she wants is to socialize medicine and squeeze our collective wallets by taking more from those who do and giving to those who wont.

Plus she is an advocate for illegal voting blocs err... immigrants and wont take free health care from potential constituents.

Lies are wrong no matter who tells them or why. But I have to think the WORST lies are those that lead to death, frequently in battle. Mr. 10:48 lost me with the term "illegal voting bloc". If I'm not legal, the last place you'd find me would be at the polling place.
Common Sense | 1:09 p.m. March 27, 2008
A logical person would reason that a habitual/congenital liar is just that...a hibitual/congenital liar! The Clintons (with the eternal lies) are not what we need running our country. Time to end the whole Bush/Clinton era, once and for all!! Do NOT put another one of their family members in the white house...PLEASE!!! Clinton would lie, even if the truth sounded better. She's married to a liar, she's a liar. and her daughter (having been brought up in that environment) is probably a liar too. Here we are stuck again voting for the lesser of the evils! It is shameful that Americans can't find better candidates. Wake up people, the Clinton's are bottom feeders on a power trip!
Hey Common Sense | 3:20 p.m. March 27, 2008
Common Sense: Lay off Chelsea, you cad.
Hillary: Get out of the way. It's Obama Time.
McCain: We don't want your 100 Years War and your incipient dementia.
Barack: Listening to you is like hearing the birds sing and feeling the sun on my face. At last, Intelligence AND Integrity in the White House! Just imagine . . .
MEB | 6:17 p.m. March 27, 2008
@ Hey Common Sense - Lay off McCain, you cod. To slander him by claiming he has dimentia without any medical proof is just wrong.

All of these three candidates have been caught in lies, half truths, misrepresentations, etc. Obama is just like the others, only add a racist bigot to the list. I used to really like this guy until he showed his true colors (no pun intended).

I hope Hillary stays in. No one masters digging up the dirt on people like the Clintons. Let's see who this Obama guy really is. "I voted against the war in Iraq." You mean when you weren't a US Senator and couldn't vote on it? I could name a half dozen more examples. It turns out this guy is just like all the others.
Sinder | 8:35 p.m. March 27, 2008
100 more years of war...I love that phrase. So if McCain is president he'll pass a law that lets him have as many terms as he wants then live for another 100 years?

We are in it for the duration now, if its 100 more years it will be 100 more years. Pull out now and it will be even worse when we have to go back.

Chelsea is a CLINTON and every bit the politician as her parents...

Hillary: Lie all you want you'll make the country better just by giving people a good laugh...and make it better by destroying any chance you or Obama have for the presidency.

McCain: ...I guess he is the best nut...but still leaves a sour taste.

Barack: My hat is off to you for being able to convince so many people that your actions mean nothing, and your words mean everything. I mean ask Hillary about words vs actions...she was dodging so fast that you couldn't even see her duck...

Where did all the good democrats go?
