We need more BUS SERVICE. UTA need increase the frequency of the buses on all routes, work with the cities work on barrier free more benches and shelters and lower the fares will encourage motorist
to ride the bus. The flyer that came mail back August said A GOOD BUS SYSTEM JUST GOT BETTER,it HURRY UP and WAIT FOR TRANSIT DEPENDENT. UTA is in the process of trying to get other entities to do transportion of the disabled and the elderly, it is very likely property taxes would be increased we are already pay sale tax. I AM NOT AGAINST TAX we need more BUSES.

Tammi: we do not need more buses. Stop complaining about a system that generally works just fine or you might find that it will be taken completely away. The legislature has precious little interest in keeping mass transportation around. Keep whining and we will lose it all.

Other entities should be doing paratransit service. It is nothing but an unfunded mandate as part of the ADA. It is also a financial black hole costing 23 times more per passenger than TRAX and 8 times more per passenger than bus.
Will you and your bus riders union get the facts please.

UTA planned for years for years on how to reduce ridership on buses. So they can put most money into
LIGHT RAIL and COMMUTER RAIL. UTA is trying to MOST
of the BUS SYSTEM. I am not against TRAX or COMMUTER
RAIL. I am 100% against other ENTITIES to doing TRANSPORTION of the DISABLED and ELDERLY. I want the
FIXED ROUTE BUS SYSTEM for most of my TRANSPORTION
not a PARATRANSIT SERVICE. UTA is trying to ELIMINATE most of the BUS SYSTEM.
