I saw "Young Frankenstein" during its pre-Broadway tryout period. I thought it was totally entertaining. I have never been a Mel Brooks fan, but I have enjoyed the earlier movie when I've seen it a couple of times in the past. The musical was delightful because it stayed true to the movie version. The special effects and the stage settings were fantastic. I never felt bored or found myself wondering when it would be over. As for some of the sexy or off-color bits, so what? Don't be so prudish. It's not Disney.
