An intersting happening. I will use it in class for discussion about values and the use of recreation and parks. Is it being used to bring people to... or is it used to help people in need? Or both? Is recreation being used as a marketing tool for a religious message, or does the recreation stand alone? Kind of like churches using basketball as part of a subtle missionary program. Is that why we have recreation and sports?
Obviously, Layton must have some serious recreation and park problems for this to exist. These are kids in need of something... what? What happened to the recreation program and programmers in Layton?
Asleep at the switch? Or is this a population niche that does not respond to traditional recreation programs?
Interesting.
Shadow wonders.

As a volunteer at Jesusfield I can tell you this is an amazing place!!! The kids that come may feel like outcasts, rebels or just not important in the world. But when they come to the Field we don't see what they want us to see but we see who they are. Most are lost and confused kids with amazing hearts. They're looking for love, boundaris and acceptance.
God has done some amazing things through Jesusfield and He's not done.
I wish everyone would come and support Jesusfield and what it's about. Please continue to pray for the kids and workers that we can follow God and what He wants for us. Thanks to all those who support the Field.

My own son benefited from the Jesus Field, he is now 22 and a wonderful young man who loves and serves the Lord. Marcus, Julie and the other volunteers really model the love of Christ. I am so gratful to them!

I also feel like cry because I want to send $10,000 to Jesus Field.
But I'm so broke.
Will someone please send Jesus Field $10,000. Or more. Or anything. Today!
