That is awesome! When has BYU ever done that? They can't! Go UTES. Keep living strong.

She was a better point than byu's men's point guard.

Desperate times call for desperate measures. No glimer of hope for all the mens programs at the U so scouring the internet at 3 am to find something to route for at the U and you found it. yaaayyyy!!

Why do BYU fans... | 10:05 a.m. April 10, 2008

Way to go Leilani.....We are so proud of you...The best of luck in the WNBA....
okay okay | 11:56 a.m. April 10, 2008
thanks for pointing out the 1% of ute fans that live overseas and comment on articles posted on the Deseret News. The point of my comment was that Ute fans are so desperate to take a pot shot at BYU that they have to comment on the womens sports teams in order to rip on the Cougs. Its called desperation.

Atleast the U has something they can be proud of and right now I wouldn't be saying much if I was a BYU student because the whole Cloak Boy article was a joke and it got more attention than the BYU basketball team and also right now a group of BYU students are organizing a Rock-Paper-Scissor contest that they hope to be the world's biggest. Wow. now that is something to be proud of. I would be much more proud to have a member of a girls sport go pro then to have to say I go to a school with those other 2 stories.
FACT... | 11:41 a.m. April 11, 2008
She will be the only drafted player from mens or womens sports at BYU. Plaisted can go back to being the average center he is at BYU, NBA draft??? hahahahahahahahahaha.... I have a better chance
correction.... | 11:41 a.m. April 11, 2008
meant to say only drafted player from either Utah or BYU...

First way to go Leilani we knew you could do it.. kick but show your stuff and we will be hear to cheer you on. now this it to okay okay we are not desperate to take a "pot shot at Byu" but if you feel this unfair the lets put it this way Women's basketball was won by utah both games by more than 30 points each game. Utah went undefeated in conference (thanks a lot to our point gaurd Leilani mitchell) and we have a player drafted. does Byu have that right now? No!! So stop trying pot shots and go comment on BYU articles. Any we love you to death Leilani!!
what did you say | 5:52 p.m. April 24, 2008
Leilani will be just fine in the WNBA, even coach Elliot commented this season on how Leilani is "WNBA good" and this is to okay okaywhat did you mean by "have to comment on the womens sports teams"
It doesn't matter the gender. And trust me girls can do anything guys can do, sometimes even better. Get that through your head. But Leilani we love you, we are supporting you, we can't wait to see how far you go. The only way to go now is up!! Go Utes! Well I guess now it is also go Phoenix Mercury!!

I am going to first comment on okay okay what we are doing is called supporting our teams not desperaation if you have some sort of prejudice against the women's teams them that just shows how shallow some BYU zoobies are. But on a happier not WAY TO GO LEILANI!!! WE WILL MISS OUR FEILD GENERAL THE NEXT POINT GUARD HAS SOME BIG SHOES TO FILL. HAVE A WONDERFULL CARREER WE WILL BE SUPPORTING YOU ALL THE WAY!!
