Who is the other superdelegate supporting Obama? And who are the superdelegates supporting Clinton?
Dem Platform = Socialism | 11:19 a.m. April 10, 2008
JFK said, "Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country." Today's Democratic platform is nevermind what you can do for your country..because the government wants to do it for you.
The Dem Platform is Socialism..plain and simple.

Bill Orton must be supporting Obama. I've missed that announcement.

I'm hoping the Super Delegates fulfill the purpose for which they were formed in the first place... to break the close type of stalemate we're seeing in this cycle of choosing a Presidential candidate.
The Super Delegates were formed to take the nomination process to the next step above that of pledge/popular votes... namely a sort of electoral college vote by determining who is best suited to take the electoral college in the general election in November. Super Delegates are not supposed to be beholden to the pledge/popular vote as they vote based on a different set of criteria that like it or not is the same as the electoral college of the Nation at large who vote regardless of the national popular vote.
I'd suggest that if Obama's supporters don't like this that there be a move to strike the Super Delegate factor from the nominating process altogether and proceed in the future by a divisive-laden pledge/popular vote only, and let me tell you, that would disenfranchise a huge segment of pledge voters in a way that would do more to damage political parties than could possibly be imagined.
Let the Super Delegates vote as originally intended so.

this endorsement is meaningless.
Supports a Racist | 12:30 p.m. April 10, 2008
I'm surprised that Mr. Holland would give his support to a man who sat in the congregation of a racist bigoted pastor for 20 years.

I'm sick of Obama and his Rev. Wright! All the garbage the media through at Romney and they are enamored with this guy? He is nothing more than an old fashioned liberal that repackages it with great speeches! I support OPERATION CHAOS! The wise ones among you know of what I speak. Also, Soloman said there is nothing knew under the sun.The same for Barack Hussien Obama!
Racists untied | 1:17 p.m. April 10, 2008
C'mon. You can spot a racist every time they say Barack's middle name, as if that alone is a boogeyman. How childish.
Barack Obama is a CHRISTIAN, not a Muslim.
And if you heard ALL of what Rev. Wright had to say, and knew the truth behind some of the more controversial statements, you wouldn't think so harshly.
Imagine if someone took the 10 stupidest things you'd ever said in anger in your life and ran them on a loop all over the TV for a month. You'd look like a blithering angry idiot too.
Please, let the adults pick the president this time around. We've seen the president the children give us, and he's been just horrible.

EMPTY SUIT!
Obama is a fabrication/invention of the left. I ask you Obama supports: before 2006, had you ever even heard the name Barack Hussein Obama?? I bet not.

Yes, I had heard his name. He has been an incredible senator and will make a compassionate president.
Listening to the soundbyte of the week is no way to follow politics. I make no judgments about any candidate based on whatever comment the media latches on to any given day. If we simply accept things because we want to believe them and ignore context we will not make informed decisions.

Clintonistas cannot stand to hear good things about Senator Obama; they immediately come out screaming and kicking with their lies, hate, racism, and bigotry. You folks must lead very shallow and sad lives to be so disgusting and so ugly.
By the way, Senator Obama is closing in on Hillary in Pennsylvania!! She is now ONLY 3 points ahead of him....big, big drop from last week!! We still have two more weeks to go until the Pennsylvania Primaries!!!
Okay, Clintonistas, see, your spewing hatred, racism, begotry, and lies do NOT help your candidate! She, too, has exhibited the same "qualities" as you, her supporters. How does that go? Which came first, the chicken or the egg?? Ummm

Thank you Carolyn, your comment is crystal clear. I like it!!
Oh, Senator Obama is closing in on Hillary in Pennsylvania. She is now ONLY 4 points ahead of him; a big drop from last week!!! Go Obama!!!

That's funny- you assumed that I'm a Hillary supporter- we'll, I'm not- but you're right about Hillary she is worse.
Look, stop hiding behind polarizing words like racism, bigotry, and hate- this has nothing to do with that. You liberals always resort to this tactic because you're incapable of debating the issues. Why do you people always label conservatives with such words when they speak against one of your candidates?- isn't one of your liberal core values the right to disagree? And that I do- I disagree with: higher taxes which kill job growth and send American companies overseas, free trade, socialized health care, uncontrolled illegal immigration, abortion on demand, open borders, weaken armed forces.
So if I disgree with a liberal candidate- you call me a racist bigot. Typical reaction.

Re: Paul | 4:05 p.m. April 10, 2008
Well you've pretty much discredited anything you say with your lack of intelligence. Of course people had heard of him before 2006. He was the keynote speaker at the 2004 Democratic Convention. That's pretty common knowledge and therefore proves you know next to nothing about the candidate you speak ill of. Typical.

Obama vs. Clinton; Burr vs. Hamilton. Now, those were the good old days.

Thomas Jefferson, who was one of the fathers to our nation's political system, said that the Political Party System would be the downfall of this great nation. Wise words; this is just the beginning.

Carolyn, could you please enlighten us as to what makes Obama such and "incredible senator" and please let us know what he as actually done as a senator that makes him any different than the run of the mill Democrat?

Reagan said, "Big brother government is the enemy of freedom and liberty and should be rooted out wherever it rears its ugly head" Today's Republican party agenda is don't worry about Big Government..because the government will protect you. A decidedly facist proclamation used many times in history under the same exact circumstances...
The Republican's one party system agenda is Facism... plain and simple.

She can't because he hasn't done anything.

If the so-called Super Delagates do not vote as the people of this state desire, then they are no better than socialists who think they are much more intelligent than the common citizen.
Mr. Obama is mostly an unknown who can spin a good tale. Many Democrats are falling all over themselves in absolute starry-eyed admiration and adoration. Anyone who disagrees is considered to have a lack of intelligence. Yet the B.O. cult are the ones who are reacting in ignorance as B.O. has shown us very, very little except rhetoric. All the red flags such as the significant lies he has told, are stomped out by the B.O. zealots who don't want to be bothered with facts, but only their deep, abiding almost spiritual love and loyalty for a man we know so little about. Oh, yeah, four years ago he spoke at the Democratic Convention. Now that was really memorable.
So, the B.O. herd, their minds made up, will thunder on and trample and demean and put up a huge stink against anyone who questions or gets in their way. Typical.

An Obama/Clinton duel would result in a stalemate. Both are leaning too far left to be hit by a ball.

Oh please Janey! Let people have an opinion. I am insulted by your insinuations. I am not starry eyed. I just don't trust republicans after seven years of a horrible president. It's that simple. And then I read Obama's book, I researched him, I liked his ideas and I voted for him. Expressing an opinion contrary to the majority of Utahns does not make me a zealot. It makes me an American!
Have the guts to have a civil dialogue and stop the name calling.

My opinion is that Obama is a great, likeable, and very persuasive con artist and has those liking him conned beyond belief. But then again, that is my opinion and mine only (along with millions of other who feel the same way as I do).
