DeUndre Spraggins won't be back next year, and Jordan Stone is going on a mission right after high school.

Too bad Jaycee Carroll isn't goin' to return. He didn't do so well in the college three point shootout. He only got the score of 14, but still Jaycee is a fantastic b-ball player and makes 49.7 of his 3 pointers! The Ags will do great next year. I hope they will go to real basketball tourney and go to the Sweet 16 or maybe even the Final Four. They still got to play better and beat that UNLV team. Oh, did I forget to mention that they need to beat those hot Boise State Broco's and that tough BYU team!

Go Utah State Aggies!

I think the Aggies are gonna be okay. They have been in the past when Nelson or Harris left and they will be fine again next season. Some good recruits are coming in and we saw some promising play from players like Wesley, Newby, and Pooh.
Things are gonna be fine especially when we beat BYU at the ESA and show them superiority in Utah.

We are in DEEP trouble without Carroll next year. I know a certain redshirt freshman or two think they are the next stars for our team, but they seem to be more interested in off the court antics based on suspensions handed down during the year. Word of the wise to Stew: A tiger doesn't change his stripes. Then we bring in a coach who has been with a team that has shown zero discipline in the past 3 years, at least, so I wonder where the program is realy headed? We already have 3 strikes against us.

You'll need it. Face it, USU lost tons of big-time starters. It is a reloading period. BYU was not blown out by anyone last year, except UNLV, and USU is not even close to UNLV. They faced competition much better than USU, and return practically all of their stars. They should be just as good if not better than last year. With BYU returning so many good players, and USU losing so many, I can't see how USU stands a chance.

USU has to find a leader from the start, or they will struggle all year.

What "off the court antics" were committed by redshirt freshmen? The only suspensions handed out ALL LAST YEAR were to DuCharme, Myaer, Stephens and Williams for missing curfew ONE time. Missing Curfew? Now that is some hard core "antics!"

Also, people always freak out when we lose players. What are we going to do without Pinegar? We were Big West champs. What are we going to do without Spencer Nelson? We won the conference tourney, won 20+ games and went to the big dance. What are we going to do without Nate Harris? Again, we bounce back.

Quit your moaning. Jaycee Carroll was awesome, but Stew's teams have always been best when the scoring was balanced. Look at the 2000-2001 year when we beat Ohio State in the big dance:

Shawn Daniels: 11.8 ppg
Tony Brown: 11.7 ppg
Bernard Rock: 10.5 ppg
Curtis Bobb: 10.4 ppg
Dimitri Jorssen: 8.7 ppg

We won 28 games that year! Doomsday is not coming, we will be fine.

Who cares about b-ball when we have a good usu football program. If the fans will just stop slamming Coach Guy we will probably win 7. The usu fans need to support football like they do b-ball: I will not even start on the alum assoc as there is not enough words remaining for one to eleborate on their incomptency.
question? | 12:47 p.m. April 15, 2008
Does anyone know about why they didn't mention Nate Bendall? I thought he was also going to be back for next year. Did he tranfer, or is the article forgetting about him?
Nate Bendall | 2:05 p.m. April 15, 2008
Nate Bendall was placed at SLCC by USU coaches. It was his choice because he didn't want to redshirt so that he could get his basketball legs back. He wanted playing time right away.

The plan is for him to play a year there and then (hopefully) come back to USU.

Lost tons of big time starters? We lost our scoring threat and a point guard. DuCharme wasnt a starter because he was replaced by a fresman that will be back for another 3 years. Things are going to be alright.
And I would be careful with saying someone doesnt stand a chance, the game still has to be played and Stew is a better coach than Rose. It will be a good matchup and decided by who has a better day that day. Until then everybody has a chance.
