How can you admire someone who obviously DOES make a secret of her beliefs? Look at what she's wearing!

The choice of clothing is an interesting aspect to this story, in this person's case the only LDS member of the group mentioned.
Perhaps it is the standard uniform for them? When I work out in Physical Training in the military, I don't wear my longer, Army approved garments under my shorts.
Sometimes we have to adjust our outfits for different pursuits.
I hope the best for her and her career. And continued activity in the Church.

I really admire anyone who can develop talent to such a high level and yet stay grounded in her beliefs, which in many cases is opposed to the standard of the entertainment industry.

I happen to be a friend of Alex and was able to see her perform this weekend. She has an amazing voice and presence on stage. She has mastered her talent. Anyone who would judge her beliefs based on her costume, is truly not a christan. Are we not taught in church, "Judge not that we be not judged"?

Celtic Woman can be highly complimented for their talent, grace and dignity. How refreshing to have no vulgarity or crudeness hidden under the aspects of entertaiment. These ladies are so awesome that they truly light up the stage with their rich talents which they have refined and cultivated! Their music is absolutely awesome, what energy and vitality they bring to the stage! Thanks for enriching all who had the privilege of seeing your production, it was brilliant! In regards to their costumes, they were beautiful and revealed nothing!
What dedication and sacrifices they are making to give us this incredible, powerful music. They bring laughter, tears, gratitude, clapping of hands, tapping of feet, audience involvment and pure joy and happiness to this troubled world. Alex, Chole, Lynn, Mairead, and Orla, and the entire company thank you for visiting Salt Lake City. We love you, you are the best!!!

I had the distinct pleasure of seeing the Saturday evening Celtic Woman performance, and was awed by the talent of all cast members. I have listened to the music of Maev (who left the cast to record a new album) for several years, but only discovered the collective known as Celtic Woman, this past December. I have all the compact discs, and two DVDs, and was excited when I found out that they were returning to Salt Lake. I was saddened (at first) when I found out that Maev was not performing, and even further disappointed when I found out that Lisa Kelly was not going to be on tour. However, I was amazed by the talent of the two new singers, and downright blown away to find out that one of the vocalists is an active member of the LDS church. It truly has become a worldwide church, as you see LDS members on American Idol, etc. Regardless, it is a concert that noone should miss! Alex did a great job, and we hope to see her again. Truly talented individuals, all around.

My family and I were blown away by the Monday performance. It was a part of our family home evening, and what an evening it was! We absolutely loved every aspect of the show. It was a pure joy to see and hear them perform. We did not know that Alex Sharpe was a member of the Church. What a delightful, beautiful and talented person this woman is. We hope some day to hear and see her perform with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. We wish her and her family the best.
