What in the world is he doing mentioning Dracula and Attila the Hun. The paragraph did not contribute to the article in any way. I read that and had to read it again to make sure I wasn't missing a sentence that would tie it all together, but that sentence was gone. Sports and world history lessons like that just don't go together. As "important" as a playoff series is, we should have some perspective. I guess thats why he is a beat writer and we are not.

Give it a break, Greg. I'll bet 9 out of 10 people who read the column "get" the reference to Vlad and Attila. Anyone with any kind of institutional history with the "RockMonster's" columns knows he uses humor throughout. He never guarantees it's good humor, but it usually is. Lighten up...and enjoy Game 3.

A sweep is do-able but not a foregone conclusion. I doubt the Rockets are too eager to get swept. If they lose game three then they may only put forth a token effort in game four though.

Seems like you Utah fans are too confident with 2 wins against a team missing 2 of their starters, not to mention their best player. The Jazz are playing sub par considering that in both of their wins the deficit was less than 5 pts until a few mins left in the 4th. You guys are playing a team without 2 of their starters!!! And you guys are prematurely talking about sweep...talk about a sweep when it actually happens or at least when you are 3-0. I guess Game 3 ends this topic huh?
