I agree. Gays and lesbians should not have to be silent about their sexual orientation. But then can we also include in this National Day of Silence those people who have been told they can't express their views on other issues, like illegal immigration, because those views are "racist"?

We are being silenced, too. The school system cannot favor one type of political expression over another.
