The main reason vouchers were pushed last year was to help with enrollment to spare schools like this one from potential cuts or closing. They have a difficult time competing in the 'free' market against schools that parents don't have to pay for.

What a wonderful school this is. Many people look at private schools as schools for the wealthy. Meridian is not. It has children from families of all ranges of status. It provides small, tight-knit classes where children love to learn, teachers love to teach, and people just get along. I don't think you would find anywhere else in the valley where teachers, with or without their own children at the school, are willing to do what it takes to keep the school going, even if it means teaching for free. Thank you, board members, for planning for the future. This way we can help future ordinary children become extraordinary, as so many have become in the past. It is an honor to contribute.
