Um...no threes for the entire game, and poor 4th quarter free throw shooting is not much to brag about gang...even though it did end up in a win. We need to play like we have some veteran backbone or this series will be as long as last year & COULD have historic results for one Mr. McGrady...his first W in a first round series....Come on Jazz...focus on the fundamentals & work TOGETHER or else it's vacation time! Carlos & Ronnie need to learn to BLOCK OUT their man on D!!!!

The article says 7 players had 8 block with AK and Brewer each having two. Fuzzy math?

I'm happy with the win but would have preferred to see Brewer instead of Korver for most of the 4th. Korver was off and Brewer was hitting jumpers. When it got down to Rocket intention-fouling time put Korver back in. Go Jazz!

Obviously, Houston is prepared for and has almost shut down the "pick and roll" of the Jazz. Hey Jerry, Boozer isn't the only person who can run it. Kirilenko is open a lot of the time. Why not fool the Rockets and run it with him and Memo. It would work and would completely leave them off-guard. Williams can deliver to both, and Houston would not know what to do with three options.

Be creative!

Next game the Rockettes will pack it inside and make the Jazz hit some 3's. We better make a few.

Jazz fans, thank your lucky stars that the team's brass was willing to make the sacrifices necessary to move up in the draft and pick up DWill. That young man is mentally and physically tough and is the chief reason the Jazz are winning. And he's not a jerk, either. He won't back down to anybody. Though he could improve his defense, he is getting better every month. He undertands the importance of playing tough defense and of working the ball inside for easy shots. He also understands that stats mean nothing -- there is only one number that means anything, and that is the number of wins. I, for one, appreciate DWill for what he is -- not the next John Stockton, but a guy who puts out 100% and has the physical skills to accomplish his goals. And he puts team first. A great leader.

anyone remember the first game where the jazz went small and ak played the 5 where is that lineup for a change.I know everyone loves KK but Ronnie gives us more right now

Korver needs to work with Hornacek to learn 2 fundamental things: 1) how to get decent seperation from his man for a clean look and 2) how to get off a contested shot while remaining calm to give yourself a chance to knock it down.

Also, Korver needs to use the dribble, step in move more. They are flying at him at the 3-point line, but last night when he dribbled once and stepped inside the line, his man went flying behind him and he put himself in rhythm to hit the wide open jumper. If he did this more, he would make more open shots and a made 2 is better than a forced missed 3 any day.

There are only 8 teams down 3-1 to comeback and win a playoff series and Houston I believe will be the ninth GO ROCKETS!!!!!!!!!!

Blue collar team? All they do is get their faces dirty and collect a paycheck.

While that is fine, It is the white collars that get ahead in life.

Bing in some tier one stars and win championship.

By the way I don't see boozer getting his face dirty.

TRADE BOOZER NOW FOR CHAMPIONSHIP FUTURE!

This Jazz team has been a delight to watch. They are still somewhat young, but they have accomplished so much the last 2 years. Even though Korver had an off shooting night, I just cant say enough about what he has added to the team. He is atomatic at the free throw line. What a great tool that is come crunch time. Watching DWill miss thoughs shots at the end just proves my point. I love DWill , but home much nicer it would have been to have Korver at the line then. I have never met Korver, but I just have to tip my hat to him. To come in the middle of the season and to have done what he has for us is truelly amazing. I just hope the jazz can convince the players to sign and stay with us. What a lineup we could have for many years to come. The sleeper that I feel needs to be signed is Millsap. The jazz sign him last year at a real bargain price. I believe he is the lowest paid player on the team. I hope Larry M will sign him to a long term contract soon.

Series are sometimes so different but with Houston having so many injury problems and yet still giving the Jazz so many problems, it looks like they wont do very well agains the Lakers. Boy, I would like to see them shut Kobe up. Lets hope for better play during the next series.

Hey Sammy, how many teams have come back from down 4-1?
jayson | 3:47 a.m. April 28, 2008
ok, for starters the rockets are the 2nd best d team in the leauge. the jazz average 108 points a game per 100 times down the court. when you play that kind of d it will make you look bad. the rockets make you take poor shots. if the spaceing is off, you give up alot of rebounds. i know we will play better if we play la cause, their d is not in the top ten. remember the top stat. jazz win in 6.

How about Booz going from shooting I think 3-8 from the foul line to shooting 8-8. Great job and if he isn't preparing to win a championship then why would he show up an hour and a half early for practice and shoot free throws? Correct me if I am wrong on the 3-8 stat. DWill has been in a grat situation and he has taken advantage of it. He worked out with the US Team and studied Jason Kidd(who is one of the greatest passers the game has seen) and between his rookie and soph year he spent 2 weeks doing 2 a days at John Stockton's house. It says a lot about him to see how he has learned from other players and taken advantage of the opportunities to learn. That to me says heart of a champion.
