Sorry to correct Warden Friel but he never offered exercise or weights to the Officers. Maybe to his personel staff but Officers working the units were never allowed or given the opportunity for exercise.

I used to work with Clint. He gave me a set of dumbbells that I still have and use to this day!! It's good to see he is doing something he enjoys, instead of just doing his job.

Friel never offerd weights to the officers. The weights the officers got were after he left.

Friel was a good boss. If you wanted to work out, you could. It was your choice. I am glad to see him doing something more positive, and not having to coerce people all the time.

The "workout equipment" was scarce and accessible only during bankers hours, not available to the rank and file officer on the housing units. Only within the last year has modern equipment been made available and accessible - long after Friel "retired".
