This is crasy. As Aloha Airlines shuts down many are unemployeed. The State has no business with purchasing land. Oaktree did not ask for the help and could easily find other buyers. The propblem is that after Lingle gave her speech the Save this and that coalition came out in full force because they felt that now they had the power. Investors are in the business to make money and when they have to consently have to condend with the save everythiong coalition it cost money and no one wants to invest. Its crazy that a private land holder who has the EIS and Permits can't move foward. The State is opening itself to a huge lawsuit.
