Why not just buy a motorcycle? This thing doesn't look any safer to me. I would love to buy a natural gas vehicle. But Honda makes the civic, and I believe it would be a heck of a lot safer. Well worth the extra cost to keep me alive!

Put the same technology in a more conventional body, and you'll sell them. Most people simply won't buy a 3-wheel oddity. Got to have numerous CNG filling stations, too.

I had a 1985 Chevy Sprint (Suzuki Swift, later Geo Metro) that got 55 mpg with 4 people in it. I drove it for 220,000 miles and it got that mileage the entire time. It's still on the road.

Put your CNG motor in a 1500 pound, 4-seat car like the Sprint/Metro, and I'll buy one as soon as I can find a filling station (maybe today!).

I think the thing looks really cool and I'm impressed with the American ingenuity that put something like this together. It would be great for running around town and at a cost that look like about 1/6 of what we pay now.

I'm betting you see more of John Greene and the Eco-Fueler

I love the quote:

"It's a product ahead of its time, which would make it virtually impossible to sell in today's market," Harrison said.

According to Harrison South america's market must be in the future, when I went there half a decade ago natural gas cars and vans were already commonplace, every gas station I saw sold gasoline, diesel, natural gas, and alcohol(for cars).

This is awesome. I could go to Saint George and Back for $5 on one tank of gas. What a blast! And it looks like it should have a rumble seat in it.

I want one.

I think "I'm Sold" is ether related to John Greene or its John Greene himself. The concept is a good one, BUT, it's not realistic. I think Mr. Harrison hit the nail on the head with all of his comments.

I think Mr. Harrison is correct. How safe could that little three wheel trike actually be?? One sharp turn you are over on your side... and a top speed of 120? When are you going to use that? Good idea but use it in a more pratical vehicle.

Wait until the price of natural gas rises...

Green said that the roadter is "five to 10 times safer than a gasoline car" because of natural gas needing a certain mixture with air before it can ignite. "It's the safest vehicle fuel in the world, and I think scientists would agree with me,".

I am not worried about the fuel... I am worried about having a collision with another vehicle. How strong could that small frame really be? A head on impact with a Mercedes and that roadster will be about 2 feet long... not to mention being hit in the side.
