Great win for Mtn. View. Still surprised at Springville. They seem to have talent at every position, but couldn't put it together. If they can get passed the mental precipice, they will beat some teams in the play offs. Mtn.View got the hits when needed, Kudos to middle infield for MV. They Made some big plays, in key spots. Offspeed pitches, rather than heat was the achilles heel for MV, Springville, and Orem in 2008. The players seem to gorge themselves on fast ball pitchers, but stuggled with the low end, slow, slower and slowest.

Springville is a great team, good luck in the playoffs.. MV you guys were great. Lots of nice hits. How about Garrett's hit off the 410 wall and Grayson West's double at a huge time. Schmidt you were great. Sweet double play by the infield to put the game away. No let down with Tooele and we are region champs.

Never seen such poor sportsmanship in my life.

We are proud of our Bruins baseball team for winning Region 7. Even though we scored a lot of runs, we had injuries and every game was a struggle. There are 7 teams of great kids and players in Region 7.

We apologize if we came across as being less than ideal fans. We were always on edge and felt disrespected by the local media and others. Now, we'll try to play well in the state tournament and bring some respect to all the Region 7 teams.
Class Act | 10:30 p.m. May 8, 2008
Mountain view is and has always been known as a class act, And as much as springville doesn't feel that way, they are wrong. We have had passed articles written about us and how classy we are. You can't expect the fans to sit there while your coach repeatedly gets off of the bench to argue on the call and stalls the game for minutes at a time. Coaches are suppose to be an Example and carry themselves with dignity, if anything or anyone, it was Springville's coach who was out of line. I'm not going to say that MV's fans were not harsh, because at times we were; With REASON. Who's to say Springville was not just as bad; Because they also were. For example, when you were winning, and shouting shut up at us for our celebration? Everyone was out of line that game. Don't call it on just MV.

Great game boys, we are more than proud.

And everyone love Smidtty
