I'm sooo confused. One party says to further your education, and another party says that women should focus on getting married and not a degree.

Which is it?

I am not sure who is sending these mixed signals but I feel it is very clear that everyone needs to make their own choice. With that said. Women in the church are encouraged to obtain an education. Even if you plan on being a stay at home mom. We are to be prepared. This means the woman needs to be prepared in case something were to happen such as divorce, loss of income, loss of husband due to accident or illness. I know fist hand. Education is important! I work so my husband can stay home due to his failing health. (plus I wanted a degree) I was able to get a good job because of my degree. But always remember it is your life and only you and Heavenly Father can make your choices.
