Do you think UTA can get people in South Davis County to SLC at an expense cheaper than driving and in a timely manner? We all don't work between north & south temple between w temple & state street!

No, but there are a large number who do! Isn't that what puts the "mass" in mass transit?

Tammi - if you are going to post the same comment day after day on ever transit article here and on the Tribune website, please have someone proofread it for you! You beat the same drum every day, and your cause is beginning to look foolish. An organization trying to get their point across needs to invest a little time proofing their grammar.

Dear KF: Ok the UTA Board of Trustee and the High Paid Executives needs to be held Accountable. The Fuel Surcharge will be more Destruction of Bus System. UTA need to ELIMINATE the FREE FARE ZONE, UTA to have Good Bus Service for all of Salt Lake County not just down Salt Lake and the Avenues we all Pay Taxes and Sales Tax. KF you must have your own CAR or live where you have good Bus Service, I have lost alot of FREEDOM. You just do not get it,
and do CARE about what UTA has done.

Dear Tammi -

I do have a car, but I don't drive it to work. I work in downtown SLC, and own a home within walking distance of a Trax station. I ride Trax every day to/from work. I put less than 2000 miles on my Jeep last year becuase I live close to shopping, restaurants, etc. I personally haven't lost any of my freedom, and use mass transit every day.
