I have a real problem with them not showing the National Anthem when he sings it. It is the NATIONAL ANTHEM and should NEVER NEVER be skipped. I don't care if people get offended by it being sung at games and if you don't want to salute the flag and stand at attention cause you are not American. You are in the United States of America and you should stand at attention when it is sang and when the Pledge of Allegience is said because they represent the freedom that this country is all about and no media rights or anything should ever stop the National Anthem or the Pledge of Allegiance from every being said and broadcast. They are wrong for not airing it!!!!!

Take a chill pill Patriot. It has nothing to do with offending people with the national anthem. If you had read Tuesday's article you would know that the NBA has broadcasting rights for the Jazz game and letting FOX use that footage for the AI show needed clearance. The NBA looks at this as promoting a FOX tv event for free, which advertisers and sponsors of the NBA game have paid tons of money to be part of. So just allowing American Idol to broadcast the national anthem isn't just a "little" thing. There's a ton of red tape to cut through and it looks like too much so that it's not likely to happen after all.

So Mr/Mrs Patriot get off the phone to Sean Hannity and stop jumping to conclusions. Plus RUSH is the only show worth listening to.

They ARE airing the Anthem - On American Idol, which is National TV. They never air the anthem for Jazz Games....only for the Super Bowl!!

Although I have been voting for David A. from the beginning I have grown to like David C. as well. While Archuleta has a very pure voice, Cook is more likely to become a big name pop star. He has the voice and the ability to entertain concert crowds like a pop star.

I really hope that Archuletta realizes that he has the voice for classically trained singing and pursues a career in classical music, opera etc.

I wish all the American Idol contestants could lose.

Just remember to call and vote on Tuesday Night!
If David A. is going to win we need to call as many times as we can. Every vote is important!

To Anonymous, are you feeling like a lonely loser and wish you weren't alone? I want you to know that you are loved. But the best way to feel better about yourself is to do something nice for others. Like, maybe sing them a song or something.

Hi I'm commenting from NZ where my family (LDS) is watching American IDol with great interest. If David A and his family would like to retreat from all the media attention, we would be happy to show them around New Zealand!
