This sounds to me like another scam to steal money from the pensions of working people and give it to the big corporations.
It is my understanding the my pension funds are not just sitting in some vault but are being invested and managed to the best advantage for me and other retirees.
If investing in the big construction companies can provide a better profit and safe investment then I am all for it.

So somehow we are going to privatize the entire public transportation system apparently installing toll booths on every driveway. Pensions are already invested and earning good returns. These two seems to think they are hidden under a mattress somewhere. On top of that most pensions are IOU's as the funds have long since been spent on other things (the federal social security system being the best example).

What about all the pensions in states that are underfunded? Like Alaska.
