Welcome back, Carlos! That was an amazing game, played with a lot of fire! Keep taking it to the hole...

It is as I said yesterday, Carlos Boozer would be fine in the first game back at the ESA. All the naysayers can find somewhere else to vent their frustrations. The fact of the matter is that things opened up for him, and the jazz made the necessary adjustments, along with more aggressive play. Playing at home didn't hurt. The officiating is always more friendly. But the Jazz earned this one.....they were basically shafted in Los Angeles on no-calls. They were still victimized by several no calls throughout the game. Coach Jackson's accusing the officials of "uneven" foul calling...intimating that the Lakers were getting short shrift on the officiating in Los Angeles is a joke and he knows it. Matt Harpring, Andre Kirilenko, et al also did their best wearing down Kobe Bryant. By making it tougher on Bryant by making him play defense, and doubling him, to force him to give up the ball will continue to pay diffidends. The Jazz reserves also kept the Laker reserves in check. It always comes down to holding home court and stealing one on the road.

Keep the faith....the JAZZ CAN DO IT!!!!
His Hustle and Defense | 10:28 a.m. May 10, 2008
Boozer is and always will be an excellent scorer and rebounder. But it was his hustle and defense that really impressed me. Generally, he does not focus on defense and loose balls but last night that aspect of his game fueled the rest. I don't expect defense and loose balls to suddenly become a Boozer centerpiece. But hopefully it helped his offense get back on track for the rest of the playoffs.

@ Jazz Fan (Original)

Amen Brother, Amen.

People keep saying "only 13 teams out of 200 have ever come back from an 0-2 hole to win a series." and then they forget to mention that the Jazz did it last year, on the road, agaist a very good and heavily favored Rockets team.

Look out Lakers, if you want this series you are going to have to earn it.

Lakers in 5. No one screams "Beat Utah!"...no one gives them little cute nicknames like the "Fakers"....we are the team to beat. One game where we played so darn poorly but still lost by only 5 when Utah shot 50% and at home....

As I said, give up the "Jazz" name. It belongs in New Orleans where it came from. Nothing jazzy about Utah or your team.

Idiot.

Where are the Lakes in LA? Lakers should go back to Minneapolis where THEY came from.

No bragging rights until you can snag one in SLC. Just like Houston, not even the Lakers can do it with their superstar alone.
