I wonder if Brewer would have beat out Fisher for the starting spot at the 2 if Fisher stayed with the Jazz? It was really a good thing he left because there was no way that a starting caliber PG would be content with scrub minutes behind D-Will. Plus, we have more cap room to give D-Will his max contract and pay Millsap.

I like Derek Fisher. I wish the best for him and his family. The question I have never heard answered though, is how moving to LA got him closer to the clinic in New York that is treating his daughter.

It's time to move on. Yes, Fisher weaseled his way out of Utah and into LA using his daughter's illness as an excuse.
You know what? The Jazz are better off for it, and at this point I'm tired of hearing commentators talk about it, yet not really speaking to the real reason why Fisher gets booed.
Fisher got his one true love back in Kobe, we got better with Brewer, and Fisher is the one that needs to worry about karma catching up with him.
Go Jazz!

If the lakers let Odum out of a contract, and he was now playing for Utah, would he be cheered for in LA. By the way, I wish we had him.

It is being reported on LA radio stations that a certain Jazz fan on the front row under the basket is holding his hand over one eye and yelling "Cancer" at Derek Fisher. If this is true(and it should be verified) then that is intolerable behavior and should be dealt with by the Jazz.

You gotta love how tough he played. If he played for any team but the Lakers I'd cheer for that team.
