Congratulations to the Lady Broncos. You were the best team all season, and the title was well-earned.
Also, nice job Juab and Manti. It was a great tournament.

Congrats to Generra and the entire San Juan High softball team. We have watched Generra the past 4 years and she is an outstanding young woman and softball player. We watched what your team was doing through out the season via the D-News. You had a great year and deserved to win the championship. We wish your entire team the best.

Congrats San Juan. You had an awesome season and deserved it. One note about the all-tournament team though...Tauni McFarlane isn't an outfielder. She played 3rd base every inning of the whole tournament

You Manti Fans sure have a lot of Class, once you were champions and SJ the runner-up. I guess you know what is like and what it takes to be a champion and have the true sportsman-like attitude to acknowledge the next champion. Manti is a true class act. By the way congrats to those BRONCOS. Now 3-peat like Manti.

I watched 2 of the 3 games friday and saturday and also saw some of the first Manti Juab game and all I can is that all the games were fantastic. Those 3 schools were by far the best in the state. Generra was absolutley amazing. The article failed to mention that in the 5th and 6th innnings Juab got 2 runners on base with no outs and then Generra came up with huge strike outs and a fly ball. In the 3 games on friday and saturday she had 14, 15 and 16 strike outs. I am a Broncos fan cause my mom went there and my cousin plays for them but I cannot say enough about Juab. What a great game they played in the finals and what great games wiht Manti. Congrats to all for an outstanding tournament and especially to the Broncos for winning it all!!!!

What a great tournament! We at Juab have so much respect for San Juan and Manti's softball teams. Always competing hard and no trash talk from the players or coaches! Now about those San Juan boys.....I know they're just high school kids, but I think they could clean up their act a WHOLE BUNCH! Cheering is one thing, but getting personal is another. Here's to more future classic state tourney games between our schools.

What kind of personal comments were made?? I think you guys just wish some of your fans would try to help your softball team out by cheerin, I think thats a big reason we are now STATE CHAMPS!!! And our boys have a ton of class here at san juan

As a neutral observer Saturday, I can tell you the San Juan boys were quite annoying. It looked to me like they need to put more energy into their own sports instead of cheerleading and maybe THEY would have been playing saturday.

Well iv done some neutral observing to and i think San Juan Softball took state this year!!! And dont make dumb comments when you cant even write your name or what school your from......

What a great tournament. Congrats to all the girl for some great action. It was fun to watch the best pitcher/Generra vs. the best hitter/Jordan match up in the champinship game. Good luck to all the girls next year. GO 2A SOFTBALL!!!!!!!

As a "softball family" we would like to thank all the wonderful people who we have had the opportunity to get to know chasing softball games for the last 10 years. Congratulations Jordan on a great high school softball career. Thanks to all the coaches that have had a positive influence on Jordan. Thanks Ally, Wendel, Russ, Tuttles, Dunfords, Brent and all the girls that we were able to get to know through the years. Thanks for the memories and good luck in college. Love ya, Dad

good job San Juan for taking state in softball. Great job to Generra she is a heads up ball player and I hope she does well in college. But it's time for San Juan to step up to the plate and start playing soccer like everyone else in the league.

Great Season all around for 2A softball. I think the two teams with the most respect is San Juan and Juab. There was a lot of teams cheering for Juab. So if you read this (Grand, North Summit, South summit, Beaver, and everyone else) Thanks for the support! Generra is a great play and the San Juan team the middle of the order can blast the ball.. Always have been able to.. Manti.. sick at bat! And Juab is a tough team. This year was an awesome year, and I think San Juan and Juab deserved to be in the chapionship game. Congrats to San Juan!

Heather Meyer, Laykin Shumway, and Cassie Hosler were all participated in the game also. Not just Generra.

San Juan boys need to do something about there sports they have gone down hill for the last couple of years. Football, Baseball have all played in the championship with in the last 4 years. Wrestling they need a new coach. Basketball they need to play as a team. The girls are the only teams that win championships for them. Volleyball hella good, softball good until next year, no pitching.

I loved particapating in the state game. I was glad that we got to play against such a tough team as San Juan. They are one of the nicest teams we have played against. I hope that we see them next year! Juab, you guys rock, and I love playing softball with you. I would like to thank my coach, Alley, she is such an amazing coach, and it was a great year. Let's take state next year!

Hey since we have a Juab Vs San Juan thing going here and you guys are ragging on San Juan Boys, why dont you ask Lynn from Juab who hit a homerun off him in the 2A All-Star Game. Was it Dakota from San Juan???
Grand Fan | 3:40 p.m. May 18, 2008
Juab you guys played an amazing game at the state tournament and we loved cheering for you guys!! You guys played with so much heart! Juab is one of the best teams in all of 2A... Congrats on the season!! You guys played a heck of a game!!!

Congrats to both Juab and San Juan, you guys are awesome, you both have so much class, and you will always be remembered for that. And as for you guys who are fighting, why cant you just get over your fight and congragulate your girls on a wonderful season.
JUAB | 4:36 p.m. June 16, 2008
Thanks for all the comments from Grand and I am thinking ALA! Or Millard. The brawl between boys is over. San Juan nor Juab made it to state in Baseball and it shouldnt matter how fans act. They can make eachother mad but the support we get from our fans whether it's just coming out and letting us know we have their support or yelling like San Juan does. Juab girls have a lot of respect for San Juan girls.. and I hope San Juan girls have the same respect for Juab. Two wonderful teams trying to make their goals come true. Stop fighting and recognize all the hard work, time, and effort these girls have put into softball. I want to thank all the fans who came out and supported us! It was amazing to look back and see everyone their with their eyes stuck on the game! It's amazing.. All underclassman RIP IT UP!!!! No regrets and follow your dream. Juab will be remember of 08 softball for a long time. Because of class or because of beating out a 3 time state champ. Thanks for the wonderful year!!! Keep ballin'!!!!!
