Kenny Cutler had a great game for Real. Where's the press?

We really needed a win like this. Dallas is good and they really disrupted the flow of the game for us. Thankfully, Sala's weaknesses were exploited (he has given up some bone-headed goals this year) and we had enough defense to close the game out. Unfortunately we are still giving up incredibly-ridiculous equalizers which needs to stop. But it looks like the ball finally bounced the right way for RSL. We are now tied for a playoff position and 1 pt out of first. Hopefully we can finally get some points on the road......

PS: Cutler did have a good game! He was very impressive in the Reserves game last week and he may have finally come of age. I think he is part of the reason why Talley got shipped this week. There is hope for Nik Besagno!!!

Nice win by the good guys. Andy Williams play continues to inspire his teammates. What an awesome pass he had to Beckerman for the clinching goal. The team seems to be gelling at the right time. Let's keep it up boys!

I watched the game here in Dallas. Great win... but I can't wait until RSL moves into their new stadium. Rice stadium is very ugly on TV... both in football and especially soccer. That field looks terrible.

Great game, it was ugly but a win is a win. Colo. is next .

Sick pass by Williams to Beckerman. Great win for us.

YAANDY! Andy Williams may look lazy but his play is awesome. Ronny Turiaf was there and well... I saw him. I bet he was impressed.

Great win. I was going crazy the last 5 minutes, but we finally pulled it off.

CRUSH COLORADO!

Ya, same! During those last minutes, I could barely watch the game. Last years team would have definately ended a 2-2 draw... Great game boys! Cutler is definately a solid player. Props to beltran, hes playing a mature style that not many rookies are capable of doing.
Excellent | 5:01 p.m. May 11, 2008
Beating the Crapids this week would be huge. It would show what this team is really capable of. We need a road win!

Excellent work! Keep it up!

Great win! I didn't realize we had a lacrosse team. That is great!

Good to get the win. I am sick of hearing people saying Cutler is so solid though. Not so! He is not that great. Didn't do much last night!

What would Kenny Cutler Do?
Ethan | 8:19 p.m. May 11, 2008
A win this week in Colorado will have RSL as the top team in the Western Conference.

:)
When? | 8:59 p.m. May 11, 2008
The answer to the question "What would Kenny Cutler do" before last night was "stand around and look confused while the other team's attacking midfielder runs past him with the ball."

But he did have a good game last night.

Andy's pass "priceless"

I was suprised as anyone when Kenny Cutler made the roster for this year. But after seeing him in the reserves last week and on the field this week I have noticed an improvement. He is definitely not the player that we saw a couple of years ago. With the changeover in RSL's roster over the years, it takes something to stick around like Cutler has. I am at least glad that SOMEONE from the John Ellinger era besides Andy Williams is doing something now. Cutler and Besagno are probably the only draft picks in RSLs first 3 years that are still with the team.

The next 3 games for RSl are on the road. Lets see how they do, one or two wins would be nice. All i hope is that we dont get killed.
Its funny to me that we can lead the west with a win and 11 points, but in the east we would be second to last with the win, ha ha. Its like the NBA except the east is the west and west the east, if that makes sense.
Lets go RSL! beat our rivals in Colo!
wow | 3:00 p.m. May 12, 2008
anybody else notice that some ridiculous goals have been scored against RSL especially at RSL. Season opener: Blanco gets a lucky bounce and rips in a beautiful left footed bender. I hate that guy, but that shot was quiet amazing. Beckham come here, hits two good shots, the first one showing our goalies weakness, and the second well it was a set piece enough said. And then this last week, the FC dallas guy hits a shot (again exposing our keeps weakness) off the crossbar then the side netting. Shots like this wont always go the wrong way for RSL hopefully. Take those away and RSL has 4 more points and leads the west, anything can happen!
GO RSL!

Its the pitch my friend.. the pitch. The ball doesn't bounce or react the same way on turf.

Re: Wow

Yeah those goals were ridiculous. Good thing is that we arent giving up "stupid" goals like we did at this point last year on defensive mistakes. Teams will need to learn that they will need to bring their game to earn a goal against RSL. I think this is a mark of a good team and a good defense. We just got to show now that we can do something on the road. Once that happens we will have the formula for a playoff run barring huge injuries.

Good Bye to Talley.

Thank the heavens!
Billy | 12:20 p.m. May 14, 2008
I too am glad that Talley is gone

Morales finally starts playing well and goes down with an injury? Hopefully this won't hurt RSL. They have enough midfielders that hopefully it won't. Williams is gonna have to step up now.

Maybe Kreis can stop complaining about the officiating and just get his team focused on winning...whether they play ugly or pretty it doesn't matter, just win baby.
