Congratulations to Davis for a gritty win. I am a Riverton fan and was at the game. It was a hard fought game like the article said and both teams showed they wanted it. It truly is too bad that one team has to lose a game like that. I just wanted to say that #10 for Davis is not only a fantastic player but a very classy example for his teammates. He was showing his class after the game while his teammates were busy celebrating a good win he was consoling the Riverton players on what was truly an intense battle.

I admit it. Region 3 is a cup cake region. All 4 teams in the region lost. I'm so sick of losing in the playoffs.

Good job Davis. You came in and punched us in the mouth with a win. We had no answer for that.

A couple of things you did good. You completely shut down Ryan Smith. We had no answer. I thought our other strikers might step it up, but we we're unable to. You we're physical with your attack and kept Riverton on it's heals. At least for a while. I thought the momentum was swinging our way but you held on as we had more shots than you. We just couldn't put it in and you could.

You deserve the win. Keep the momentum going. It would be great to know that the team we lost to, could go all the way.

Way to go Davis. It was a hard fought match, but you pulled it out. I cannot say that Rivertons was a "cup cake" however. They came out and played us very hard and it could have gone either way. Riverton is a good team and their program has really grown over the years.

As far as shutting Ryan Smith down, it was completely out of respect. He was well known by our team and we knew if we had any chance of winning that we had to control him. Even with two guys on him most of the night, he still set up some really good opportunities for others. We were just lucky the other strikers didn't "step up".

Keep it going Darts. Let's continue to suprise the competition.
