Sister Spjute was an exemplary missionary and her parents should be very proud of the young woman they raised. She made a great contribution to the missionary effort here in the all too brief time that she was with us. The thoughts and prayers of the members of the Coventry ward are with her family. We know she will be carrying on with this marvellous work on the other side of the veil.

It's always so hard to see a young person pass. When they're on a mission it is particularly sad. Our love and prayers for her family and friends. Wishes for the completion of her mission amongst ancestors and friends on the other side.

I went to high school with her. She was always kind, considerate and fun to be around. I will miss her.

I served in the same mission as Sister Spjute. She was an incredible missionary and example. The gospel shone through her. Her family can be very proud of her exemplary service. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family. I have the upmost respect and appreciation for her.

The loss of this Sister will be felt by those here and across the Atlantic whom she lovingly served.

Her selflessness and love for the Lord will not pass unnoticed, neither here nor in the eternities, and the England Birmingham Mission will miss her strength as she seamlessly carries on the work of her calling.

Though loosing a child is beyond my ability to grasp, I find great hope in her example. She led us in life with her good choices, resulting in a quality of personal preparation that we should all strive for.

Her behavior and service will be a light to my family, and to all who know her

Losing someone so dear and who serves in a mission is sad but we are reassured by the continuing missionary service she can undertake on the other side, for others who are in need of the Gospel. Although we have not known Sister Spjute, we felt the bereavement in the family. As LDS members in the Philippines, we join her ward and her entire family in their moments of prayer and our trust and confidence in our Heavenly Father's plan is made manifest by her dedicated service to the Church as a missionary and her dedicated life towards bringing the Gospel nearer to those who needs it the most.

What a shock to hear our missionary daughter say that her former companion had an unexpected transfer. Our thoughts and prayers are with her mission, her family & friends.

It's hard to imagine how some of the early Mormon wives accepted their husband's being called on missions overseas during some of the most difficult times of persecution here in America. Yet it's harder still to imagine how a family must feel when a loved one is sent on a mission on the other side of the veil, never to be seen in this mortal life. But what a happy reunion it will be in the next world. May hope and faith buoy you up in the coming weeks and years of grief.

I hope her family and her influence are strong for the cause of the Lord.

My condolences.

I am wondering about the cause of death? Often, sudden death during an athletic event in an individual in their 20s is related to hypertropic cardiomyopathy - a congenital abnormality of the heart that goes undetected until a situation like this occurs. Does anyone know?

My love and sympathy go out to the Spjute family. May the Spirit bring peace and sustain them in this loss. No doubt she will be continuing her work on the other side of the veil.

As a missionary mom myself, please accept my condolences. My prayers for our missionaries will be more specific tonight.
