Very interesting that "what's inside the diapers" bears a striking similarity to Orson's article!

Ah, Anonymous, the wicked never have been fond of the truth, for it pierceth them in the heart.

I appreciate the reminder from Card to help out with the parenting. I know exactly what he's talking about. There's no feeling as rewarding as changing a diaper, wiping a nose, bathing the kids, or dressing them. The children realize that you care for them just as much as Mom, and Mom realizes that you care about her needs too.

"Mothers are primarily responsible for the nurture of their children. In these sacred responsibilities, FATHERS and mothers are obligated to help one another as EQUAL partners" (The Family: A Proclamation to the World, emphasis added).

I don't know about other fathers, but I sometimes dread the day that my 3 youngsters will be too big, too old to be cared for in the way that I can care for them now. Treasure every moment (even the stinky ones) because they don't last long.
