Obamas plan to raise taxes and increase regulations on Corporations should really help the auto makers. If you want to be a auto maker better start plannning to re-locate, in a different Country.

"following the herd, rats scurrying onto a sinking ship,kicking the dog" - Animal behavior similes aren't very effective, nor in this case very accurate in describing Obama's assessment of American automakers plight. If one follows the automotive industry at all, it is apparent that Detroit is just now waking up to the fact that their emphasis on producing SUV's and behemoth trucks is not profitable, new models such as Ford's Fusion and Chevrolet's Malibu will be their bread and butter.
