There is NO WAY a man would have gotten this kind of sentence. So much for the equal protection clause of the constitution.

Why is it that female sex offenders get slapped on the wrist while male offenders spend years in jail?
Isn't a boy just as likely to have emotional distress as a girl? Or do most people think the boy got 'lucky' while the girl got forced?
What is wrong with society when they crucify one sex for abuse while feeling sorry for the female sex? Perhaps they think the boy was the aggressor.

I think 30 days in Jail is too short it should be longer. She did way wrong.

1 month? | 8:23 a.m. May 16, 2008
Did I read that right? How in the world does someone get 1 month for 5 incidents of sexual contact, including full-on intercourse with a minor?? Oh wait. The perp was a woman and the minor was male. Obviously, the same rules don't apply for men and women when it comes to this. Had this been a male teacher with a female student, he would have gotten a minimum of 5 years in jail. Unbelievable!

The nitigating circumstance is she was a woman.

Why are women given less punishment just because they are "mothers?" Yeah, she's a really great mother. She certainly wasn't thinking like a "mother" when she seduced another mother's child. . .let alone when she exposed her own children to the stigma they will undoubtedly get to face for the rest of their lives. Washington County is still a relatively small community with a very long memory.

I'm sure the poor, defenseless student involved in this is really crushed and devastated by the teacher's actions against him.
Teacher Unions at fault | 3:58 p.m. May 17, 2008
Far more students are molested by their teachers than Catholic Priests. Why aren't those statistics contrasted? Why does the leftist media, which professes to be in favor of the rights of women and children, fail to spotlight the ridiculously high incident rate of teacher sexual assault against schoolchildren? Could it have anything to do with their cozy relationship with "teacher" unions?
